Our Journey - Tapovan Paryushan Aradhana

Imagine a Jain community, a Shree Sangh, anywhere in India or across the world. During Paryushan Aradhana, the holiest time of the year, they yearn for the spiritual guidance of Pujya Sadhu-Sadhviji Bhagwant. However, due to scheduling limitations, it wouldn’t be possible for Pujya Sadhu-Sadhviji to visit every Shree Sangh during chaturmas.
This realization sparked a vision in the heart of Pujya Guruma Shree Chandrashekharvijayji Maharaj Saheb.
He saw that no Shree Sangh should be deprived of the transformative experience of Paryushan Aradhana. His answer? Train dedicated young people, the “Veer Sainiks,” to conduct these sacred rituals.
But there was more to it. Shravaks traditionally cannot read revered texts like the Kalpasutra or Ashtanhika Mahagranth. Understanding this, Pujya Guruma painstakingly translated these scriptures into a heartfelt and accessible form. The Veer Sainiks were then trained to recite these translations during Paryushan Aradhana.

Fueled by Pujya Guruma’s vision, the 1980s witnessed the blossoming of this dream. The first Veer Sainik training program marked the beginning of a remarkable journey.
As the years unfolded, milestones were achieved – the number of trained Veer Sainiks grew steadily, reaching over 500 today.
These dedicated individuals embarked on a mission to bridge the gap, establishing connections with over 400 Shree Sanghs across the globe.

The tradition continues to this day. Today, Sanskaranshilpi Bandhubeladi Pujya Acharya Bhagavant Shree Hanskirtisurishvarji Maharaj Saheb and Pujya Acharya Bhagavant Shree Bhavyakirtisurishvarji Maharaj Saheb provide the high-quality training these young Veer Sainiks receive.
Today, Tapovan Paryushan Aradhana stands tall as a testament to the visionary leadership of Pujya Guruma.
Our roots are firmly planted in over 350 cities across 15+ countries, as evident on our global map. This expansive reach wouldn’t be possible without the unwavering dedication of our 500+ Veer Sainiks.
